Early Learners Program

Play-Based ABA for Young Learners (Ages 2–6)

Young children learn best through play! Our Early Learners Program blends structured teaching with natural play-based learning to build communication, social, and school-readiness skills in a fun, nurturing environment.

Designed to give young children the strongest possible start.

During these early years, children are developing the foundational skills that shape how they learn, communicate, and connect with others. Our approach brings together the science of ABA with the joy of play, creating an engaging space where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Our Early Learners therapy spaces are designed to feel welcoming and engaging, filled with opportunities for exploration, discovery, and success. Through play-based learning, social interaction, and individualized instruction, we help children develop communication, social, emotional, and self-help skills in ways that feel natural and enjoyable. Our highly trained technicians and Board Certified Behavior Analysts work one-on-one and in small groups to promote learning, independence, and confidence at every step.

The Early Learners Program at ABC Health sets the stage for meaningful growth, helping children make steady and impactful progress while developing strong foundational and school readiness skills that support long-term success in learning and in life.

Our Founder and Director

At ABC Health, we understand the hopes, challenges, and questions that come with raising a child on the autism spectrum, because we’ve been there too. Our founder, Lila Ayyad-Alharsha, M.Ed., LBA., BCBA., IBA, brings more than 28 years of experience and a unique perspective to ABC Health. As a parent of an adult on the autism spectrum, she built the company with a deep understanding of both the professional and personal sides of autism care.

With a background in early childhood education, special education, school leadership, and, as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Lila approaches every family with a 360° perspective — as a parent, educator, and clinician. This blend of personal experience and professional expertise allows her to meet each family’s unique needs.

In addition to her BCBA certification, Lila is certified in school administration with a Type 75 certification, and as a general and special education teacher. She has served as the Director of Education for a therapeutic day school serving students from more than 30 school districts in Illinois.

This blend of heart and expertise is at the core of everything we do. Our programs are designed to help children thrive while ensuring families feel guided, understood, and never alone.
