ABA Services

We understand the hopes, challenges, and questions that come with raising a child on the autism spectrum, because we’ve been there too. Our founder, with over 28 years of experience, is not only a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and experienced educator, but also a parent of an adult on the autism spectrum. ABC Health’s Services have been designed to provide the additional support and coaching necessary for children to reach their full potential.

Parent & Family Support Services

Families are essential partners in the therapy process. Our services provide the guidance, coaching, and collaboration that help caregivers feel confident using ABA strategies at home. Our goal is to help children thrive while ensuring families feel guided, understood, and never alone.

Parent/Caregiver Training & Coaching

We believe parents are essential partners in the therapy process. Our parent training sessions are practical, supportive, and designed to help families use ABA strategies at home in ways that fit naturally into daily life.

Family Guidance Sessions
Regular meetings with your BCBA ensure open communication, shared decision-making, and celebration of your child’s progress along the way.

School Services

We understand the unique needs of school teams and the balance between instructional goals and behavioral supports. Our founder previously served as Director of Education for a therapeutic day school serving more than 30 districts in Illinois, as well as an Assistant Principal in the public school system. This strong educational foundation allows us to bridge the gap between clinical ABA and school-based practice, partnering effectively with districts to create lasting, positive outcomes for students.

Teacher & Staff Training:

Our professional development sessions equip educators and paraprofessionals with practical tools for managing challenging behaviors, increasing engagement, and maintaining positive classroom environments.

Professional Collaboration

We work alongside schools, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to provide wraparound care that prioritizes the child’s success. Collaboration and communication are part of our culture, not an afterthought.

Our Founder and Director

At ABC Health, we understand the hopes, challenges, and questions that come with raising a child on the autism spectrum, because we’ve been there too. Our founder, Lila Ayyad-Alharsha, M.Ed., LBA., BCBA., IBA, brings more than 28 years of experience and a unique perspective to ABC Health. As a parent of an adult on the autism spectrum, she built the company with a deep understanding of both the professional and personal sides of autism care.

With a background in early childhood education, special education, school leadership, and, as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Lila approaches every family with a 360° perspective — as a parent, educator, and clinician. This blend of personal experience and professional expertise allows her to meet each family’s unique needs.

In addition to her BCBA certification, Lila is certified in school administration with a Type 75 certification, and as a general and special education teacher. She has served as the Director of Education for a therapeutic day school serving students from more than 30 school districts in Illinois.

This blend of heart and expertise is at the core of everything we do. Our programs are designed to help children thrive while ensuring families feel guided, understood, and never alone.
